Spec fic really has e...Very interesting interview. Spec fic really has exploded and pervaded every facet of pop culture. I'm still on the fence about whether this is a good thing or not. I think whenever something becomes popular with a general audience, publishers are more likely to saturate the market with like-themed titles, and when something is niche, bigger risks with story can be taken because publishers don't expect a very large turnover anyway. Thank goodness for the consistency of the small press and the cause of innovation!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
