I'm in Therapy!

Hey, lookee!
My round-robin answer to the question "What new formats, subgenres or media would you like to see more science fiction in?" has just showed up at my favorite new blog, Meme Therapy. Also included in this Brain Parade, Chris Roberson, Tim Zinsky and "JP."

I liked your comments about SF for teens. I'm not sure what can be done about this but I heartily agree with you.

Thanks Jose.
I've been giving it a LOT of thought lately. Maybe something to say on this in a few weeks time.

Why do I get the "" around my name? That is what I go by....

I agree about the entry level SF. I've tried to get my son (9) into reading anything and he'd rather sit around and play video games (although he does like Star Wars Battlefront). I know I can get him and his brother to sit down and listen to audio books. We've listened to the Artemis Fowl books and are now on to Harry Potter so, maybe, there ought to be more entry level SF on audio. Maybe even bringing back the Heinlein juveniles, although I don't know how out of date they are.

More audio in general I think. I suspect the Heinlein, if not out of date now, are dating fast and that new YA fiction must speak to the accelerated media-immersive experience of today's youth. Sorry about the quotes, JP. I'll lose them hereon out.
