Joe Mallozzi tells me it's not going to be as visible a spot as we'll get later in the mid season two-parter, but I am very thrilled nonetheless. Very.

Well, it's on my TiVo, I haven't seen it yet. But at about the midpoint of the episode, Dusty is seen reading Theodore Judson's The Martian General's Daughter. Joe told me the cover isn't that clear, but that they'll be a second, full, clear cover shot in the first part of the mid-season two parter.
Y'know I rewinded to check to see if Carson packed a book into his suitcase and totally forgot about Dusty reading that book. I have to work on my powers of observation instead of trying to be pithy while live-blogging the episode. You might not want to read that until after you've watched it.
Thanks. Yeah, I'm hoping to watch it all later today. (Either way I may fast forward to the midpoint, but I want to watch the whole thing, of course)
