Coming to America

Mark Chadbourn has some exciting news.

Update: This GalleyCat coverage is hysterical:

The deal was brokered by Ian Drury at Sheil Land in London and although Chadbourn can't talk cash, the deal will "keep me in curry and absinthe for a while."

You know, whenever I ask an author about their deal, it always comes down to being flush enough to buy beer and pizza for an indefinite amount of time, however in Chadbourn's case, you can tell he's British.
Update 6/03/08: John Picacio has some related news as well.

Had the Age of Misrule not been published in the USA? Blimey.

That one would seem to be a no-brainer to snag, for sure.

Yes, that's me. Editorial Directing without a brain.

Beer and pizza is for the common herd. You colonials, I don't know...

Oh, we're all big absinthe drinkers over here.

Well, if'n it had been me, it would have been beer and sushi. Is that splitting the difference?

ALE (especially a pale ale) and sushi Lou!

Well, I think there is no finer alcohol than Newcastle Brown. Guinness used to have that distinction, but Guinness isn't what it was. However, with sushi, I drink Asahi or Saporo. Only time I'll drink yellow beer is with asian food, actually.
